ASSOCIATION PRIZES

Breeding mares (with the exception of mare book II and pre-mare book mares) will be awarded the title of "prize mare" if, on the occasion of registration in the central mare book, they score a minimum of 54 exterior points and if they have passed a breeding mare test with an overall score of 7.0 or higher or if they have scored 53 exterior points and passed a breeding mare test with an overall score of 7.5 or higher. Successful participation in breeding mare tests can be replaced by corresponding performance in tournaments.


At the October stallion market, the best 3-year-old mares are in a central competition for the title of "Trakehner winning Mare of the Year".

Special prize registers of the Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung (FN) serve to label above average success by documenting performance in different performance mare books, for example performance in sport under the rider (performance mare book or Lst.Stb. B), in fertility (performance mare book or Lst.Stb. D) or success of the offspring in tournaments (performance mare book or Lst.Stb. C).

In addition, the Trakehner Verband organises impressive State - and countrywide parades in a 7-year-cycle. Individual breeders are thus given the opportunity to assess the standing of their product. An opportunity to compare oneself to other competitors, the parade also provides a unique overview on the state of the art in breeding.
