ELITE MARES

Breeding mares (with the exception of mare book II and pre-mare book mares) can be awarded the title of "Elite Mare", upon request - the title can be awarded even after death - if the mare has scored a total of at least 7.0 in the exterior assessment, if she has given birth to a minimum of 2 foals and has displayed a performance of at least 3 placements in M-Class tournament trial or in a L-Class 3-day eventing trial or whose breeding performance consists of at least 3 offspring who have either been approved or recognised by the Trakehner Verband and/or have been awarded the association prize or the Elite title and/or have achieved at least 3 placements in M-Class tournament trials or L-Class 3-day eventing trials.
